End of Life Services
Who I Am
A native Los Angeleno, I live in the Hollywood area with my two lovely cats. In addition to my work as a doula, I am a writer, a historian, and an occasional emergency response worker. Links to some of my writing are available on the resources page.
How I Got Here
Once upon a time, I thought I would grow up to be a movie star. Didn't we all?

Instead, my skills and training led me to the tourism industry, where I spent many years working directly with clients from all over the world to provide personalized, meaningful travel experiences they would never forget.

When my father passed away in 2021 without any kind of plan in place, seeing the difficulty and turmoil that caused for my family, and my stepmother in particular, helped me realize that I could redirect my abilities for navigating unfamiliar territory and creating beautiful memories toward end of life care.

You may not have been to this place before, but I have. Let's work together to figure out and facilitate a plan that will give you the most possible certainty, comfort, and peace as you make your way forward.
Helping You Plan
Sometimes the hardest part of making a decision is not even knowing your options. As part of assisting with your advance plan I can help you explore options and find information for you on anything you might be curious about. No question is too basic, too small, or too weird--if you don't know and I don't know, we can work on finding the answer together.
Helping You Transition
Death is a big transition for the person leaving and the people staying behind. There is always a lot that needs to be done, and my job during the transition process is to make sure there's enough bandwidth to help you do it, by filling in the gaps that medical and caregiver support just don't fill. This could be anything from emotional support, vigil and/or memorial planning, or creating legacy projects. Let's figure out what you need and how to make sure you have it when it matters.
What I Can't Help With
The support I provide covers a lot of ground, but it is important to be clear that I am not a legal or medical professional, and am not qualified to give professional service in the areas of legal advisement or administering medical care in any form. If you need these types of services I may be able to help you find someone else who is qualified to perform them.
